Fintek Bio-Electric Response BR1 Bone Growth Stimulator
Overview
The Fintek Bio-Electric Response BR1 is a Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Capacitively Coupled Bone Growth Stimulator, engineered to deliver electrical impulses within a base frequency range of 50KHz to 60KHz. These impulses are designed to promote the healing of fractured bones, fusions, and damaged surrounding tissues. This specific frequency has been demonstrated to be effective for fractures and fusions that are typically slow to heal or unlikely to heal on their own, especially in patients with additional health concerns or risk factors for delayed or non-union. The device is also commonly used for patients requiring early intervention for acute fractures.
Patient Applications
The Fintek Bio-Electric Response BR1 is suitable for use on patients with both appendicular and spinal fractures.
Common Fractures and Fusions Treated
Fractures and fusions commonly treated with the BR1 include, but are not limited to:
- Tibia and Fibula Fractures
- Foot and Ankle Fractures
- Metatarsals
- Femur
- Patella
- Foot and Toe Fusions
- Forearm (ulna and radius)
- Humerus
- Spine (Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar)
- Spinal Fusions
- Scaphoid and other common hand fractures
- Clavicle
- Hip and Pelvis Fractures
